The Public Museum has been collecting things since 1854, and now has more than a million objects in the collection. You name it, we’ve probably got it.

Many of these artifacts are on display in small, permanent exhibits throughout the three floors of the Van Andel Museum Center. These artifacts, some exquisitely beautiful, some quite rare, some precious, historical or bizarre are grouped in the following themed exhibits:
