Valerie van Heest from the Michigan Shipwreck Associates will share her exciting stories of team expeditions to discover and document Great Lakes shipwrecks, including the SS Michigan. She also will be available to autograph copies of her new children's book, Icebound! Young explorers will enjoy a hands-on opportuntity to see, touch and use tools for exploration in the American Dive Zone. |

| Letterboxing and Geo-caching information available, follow clues through the Museum to uncover hidden boxes or search the Museum grounds to uncover a special geo-cache! Also, make an origami boat or whale at our craft station. | ||
| Kayaking is a great outdoor activity! Check out a Kayak Demonstration presented by Adventures on the Grand and learn about important safety tips, different techniques and participate in an equipment "try-on." |  |

| Enjoy 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, the 1954 classic will be projected from 16 mm film in the Meijer Theater. Presented Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm, free with Museum admission! | ||
