Birthday Parties
Are you looking for a fun and whimsical location for your child's birthday party? The Public Museum is the perfect setting for a birthday celebration!
Simply select a two-hour time block on a Saturday or Sunday and a package below, and call us at 616.929.1754 to schedule your party. A 50% non-refundable deposit must be made to reserve your time slot; your remaining payment and final head count are due seven days prior to the event date.
Time slots available include:
- Saturdays at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm
- Sundays (when open) at 1:00 pm

Please Note:
Outside beverages may not be brought in. Beverages may be purchased through the Cafe if not included in the party package.
Upon arrival, guests must check in at the Front Desk. The Museum can provide a cart to use during your two hour rental time, but will not be able to store gifts or other items.
Guests may decorate the reserved table as you wish, but must adhere to the Museum's decorating policy: no confetti, helium-inflated balloons, glitter, or live animals (gold fish) may be used.
