Volunteer Opportunities

We are now recruiting volunteers for Titanic: The Artifact Exhibitionas well as a volunteer for our reading program. Reading program volunteers read stories related to museum exhibits, the reading is accompanied by the Wurlitzer Organ. Contact Joyce for details at 616.929.1737.
There are many ways you can contribute:

  • Guide/Docent – provide school group programs/ tours designed to meet Michigan State Educational Guidelines and adult guided tours, based on the museum’s permanent exhibits.  
  • Event Specialist – assisting customers in a variety of ways at special events, greeting, directing, providing information.
  • Exhibit Interpreter – enhance customer experience by providing insight that makes the museum come alive.
