Space Exploration Part II

Scouts will have an out-of-this-world experience while learning about the wonders of the sky overhead. They will explore planets, constellations, and more in the unique educational environment of the Roger B. Chaffee Planetarium, and participate in a series of fun, astronomy-related activities. Real astronomers will be on hand to answer questions and to demonstrate how telescopes work.

Who: Cadette, and Senior Scouts

Cost: $12.00 per scout, leaders are free, additionally one adult for every five scouts is free. Any additional adults pay $8 per entrance.

When: Saturday February 9 from 9:30 to 12 and Saturday March 8 from 9:30 to 12 (This program is in two parts due to the amount and level of material that will be presented.)

Capacity: 100

Register: Use the Public Museum event form and mail it directly to the Museum

Notes: Price includes Museum admission, carousel ride and workshop fee. Snack and badge are not included. Parking is an additional fee. Plan extra time for touring more of the Museum
