Girl Scouts - Manners Then & Now

Enjoy a special guided tour of the “Streets of Old Grand Rapids” and discover what life was like in the 1890s. Introduce yourself to a shopkeeper or two. Participate in a 1890s tea party, discuss proper etiquette from then and now, see clothes from 100 years ago and take a ride on a carousel. Covered will be #!, #2, #4, #6, and #7.

Who: Brownie Scouts

Cost: $7.00 per girl, leaders are free, additionally one adult for every five scouts is free. All other adults pay $8.00.

When: Saturday March 29, 2008 from 9:30 to 11:30

Register: Use the Public Museum event form and mail it directly to the Museum

Notes: Price includes Museum admission, and workshop fee. Badge is not included. Parking is an additional fee. Plan extra time for touring more of the Museum.
