6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

$7.00 per Scout

Registered leaders are free; one extra adult for every five Scouts is free

Additional adults are $8.00 each

Event capacity: 125 Scouts

 

Scouts will have an out-of-this-world experience at the Public Museum while learning about the wonders of the sky overhead. They will explore planets, constellations, and more in the unique educational environment of the Roger B, Chaffee Planetarium, and participate in a series of fun, astronomy-related activities. Real astronomers will be on hand to answer questions and to demonstrate how real telescopes work.

At the close of this event Cub Scouts will have completed Academic Belt Loop requirements 1, 2, and 3; Academic Pin requirements 4, 5, 6, 7, and 12; and Bear electives 1a and c.
