Enjoy the wonder of the museum and a front row seat for the July 4th celebratory fireworks display on the Grand River.
For Your Enjoyment – Organ concerts with stirring patriotic melodies in the Meijer Theatre and exciting shows in the Roger B. Chaffee Planetarium (both located on the 2nd floor) will be ongoing throughout the evening. Take a spin on our famous 1928 Spillman Carousel (1st floor Galleria) and create your own adventure exploring our many exhibits on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors, plus a Scavenger Hunt for the kids.
Please note, the museum will close at 4 p.m. July 4 and re-open at 6:30 p.m.

The Museum is once again working with Bethany Christian Services, Lutheran Social Services, West Michigan Ronald McDonald House and D.A. Blodgett Homes to bring kids, who may otherwise not be able to attend, downtown to the museum to enjoy the festivities. Ticket purchasers may sponsor a child with a $10 event/meal ticket donation.
