A Native of Lafayette, Louisiana, Lew began playing the organ at the age of 10 and started formal piano studies five years later. Lew graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelors of Music degree and went on to earn his Master of Music degree from Southern Methodist University. From 1979 until 1987, he was staff organist at Organ Stop Pizza restaurants in Phoenix and Mesa. Lew has traveled around the world several times performing organ concerts. Lew will perform two concerts on the Mighty Wurlitzer Theater Organ inside of the Van Andel Museum Center on March 7 at 7 pm and March 8 at 2 pm.

Wurlitzer Organ concert ticket prices:

  • Season Ticket packages are $50 each for general public, $45 each for Museum members.
  • $10 per ticket adult general public
  • $5 per ticket child general public
  • $8 per ticket member
  • $5 per ticket child member
  • $8 per ticket if bought in a block of ten or more tickets (group price)
  • Tickets for the 2007/2008 season go on sale August 1, 2007
