The Public Museum is located in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, on the west bank of the Grand River at Pearl Street and is easily accessed from the major highways that travel through the city.

Planetarium Shows $3 in addition to General Admission
Child 2 & under free to Museum and Planetarium

Special Exhibitions may require an additional admission fee.

Directions

From US 131, exit at Pearl Street, number 85B, and turn east. The Museum is one block east of the highway at the corner of Pearl and Front.

From I-196, exit at Ottawa Ave. Downtown Exit, 77C, proceed south to Pearl St. and turn west. The Museum is just across the river.

Parking

Enclosed parking for the Museum is available in the Museum’s ramp on Front Ave. across from and just south of the Museum’s main entrance. Follow Front Ave. around the corner for the entrance to the ramp. Museum visitors receive 50% off with Museum admission.
