To order by phone, please call Star Tickets at 1-800-585-3737 prior to date of visit. Tickets cannot be purchased online or by phone on the day of visit. Tickets are available at the museum, on a limited basis. Note: tickets often sell out on weekends, please plan ahead.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition tickets are timed, which means that you will need to choose a specific time slot to view the exhibition. There are time slots for each hour that the exhibit is open.

  • From US 131, take exit 85B, Pearl Street. The museum is one block east at the corner of Pearl & Front Street.
  • From I-196, take exit 77C (Ottawa Ave/Downtown) proceed south to Pearl St. and turn right. The museum is located across the bridge.

Parking

Covered parking is available in a ramp located off Front St., just south of the museum's main entrance. Generally, Museum guests will receive half-off parking with paid admission. When large crowds are expected, the museum will make additional temporary parking available to ensure quick and easy access to and from the museum. 

Café

Open Monday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday 12 noon to 3 p.m.

Curiosity Shop

Stop at the Museum gift shop as you exit! Take home a memento of your visit including Michigan artisan gifts and a large selection of books and toys for children of all ages.

Accessibility

The Public Museum is accessible for all visitors. The museum includes a main elevator, allowing guests to access all floors of the facility. Wheelchairs are available, free of charge, from the front desk on a first come, first serve basis.

Museum Photo Policy

Museum visitors may take personal photographs or video for private/noncommercial use throughout most areas of the Museum by paying general admission. Personal photography or video is not allowed:

  •  In special exhibitions, areas designated as "No Photography," or of works of art on loan from private collections or other institutions
  •  If interfering with other guests’ museum experience (No lamps, cords, flashes, tripods, professional cameras or recording equipment). 
  • Photographs taken for personal use may not be published, sold, reproduced, transferred, or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner.  The Museum reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withhold and/or withdraw permission to photograph on its premises.
